Razer Core X recognized as USB Device, GPU not recognized at all

Hello,

I am new to eGPU's and bought the Razer Core X with a Radeon RX570 inside.

I have 2 Notebooks that I want to use the Setup with.

The first one (Acer Swift 3 SF314-57-57T2) worked perfectly. I plugged the eGPU in, restarted the PC and it worked immediately.

The second Notebook (ThinkPad T580) does not work so far. It Shows "Core X" as USB Device in Device Manager but it does not Show the RX570 there and GPU fans are not Spinning.

The ThinkPad is being charged by the Core X though. I got Windows 10 Version 1909, Thunderbolt 3 17.4.78.500 and I installed the by Razer recommended AMD Graphics Driver.

Can anybody help me with this issue?

Is it worth trying to install the recommended Driver by AMD for the RX570? I did not need to do that for the Acer.

Thankful for every help,

Markus

yes, I would start with installing the drivers from the cards website and see if it sees the card then
