Razer Core X

I have doubts about the usability and performance of the Razer Core X.
1. Can it be used on desktops? How can I tell if the motherboard supports external GPU? Mine is an Asus Rog Maximus Hero Z690
2. I'm thinking of putting in a 3080ti or 3090 (Asus Rog Strix) video card. Are they compatible?
3. Don't need to buy anything else for this accessory? Just plug the GPU into it? What about power connectors that are three pins instead of two?
4. How does the performance compare to a video card installed directly on the motherboard? I liked the product because of its mobility to use on both notebooks and desktops, as long as the performance is similar. I will mostly use it for video editing (amateurs, max 4k resolution, using Sony Vegas Pro), Photoshop, maybe Corel Draw - and of course internet, Office suite, watching streaming...

1. No in your case, it’s thunderbolt enclosure so you need thunderbolt on your device like on mini pc/laptops that have it for example intel Mac mini, Razer, MacBook laptops with intel cpu that has thunderbolt.
2. Well, first point already no to you but I’ll answer however. As long it fits the internal dimension and doesn’t eat more than 500 watt that Core x can supply, yes.
3. With thunderbolt you need only plug it in windows will automatically detect new hardware and driver (later if it works correctly if not you can download automatically). There’s only two pin with 8 holes (can unslot to 6).
4. Not sure on pro works but on gaming there’s performance hits, how big depends setting or resolution, titles as well, for this you might check Egpu.io, Egpu enthusiasts forum and last time I checked Razer core x is more popular enclosure being used.
Hope that helps.

My motherboard is a Asus Rog Z690 Maximus Hero. It has thunderbolts 4.0 ports. So, it will work?

Razer Core X'in kullanılabilirliği ve performansı hakkında şüphelerim var.
1. Masaüstünde kullanılabilir mi? Anakartın harici GPU'yu destekleyip desteklemediğini nasıl anlarım? Benimki bir Asus Rog Maximus Hero Z690
2. 3080ti veya 3090 (Asus Rog Strix) ekran kartı takmayı düşünüyorum. Uyumlular mı?
