    Hello everyone,
I have a Razer laptop I purchased in 2018 and was wanting to upgrade to include the core. I also have a Windows Surface Pro that has thunderbolt and was wondering if anyone knew if i could use a core on both my computers?

    Thanks,

Yes if it has TB3 port but I think due Security things surface devices don’t have thunderbolt port only usb c. All blade laptops and from other brands for example current MacBook lines can support egpu (the core) from their TB3 port.

I did do some research and the Surface Pro X does not support eGPU.
So, unfortunately this will only work with my razer.
    Thanks for your response!

I am still impressed with how well the Core works with my Dell. I am sorry to hear about the Surface Pro. Hopefully it can get a firmware update.
