Razer Cortex Add Game Manually "Browse" Option Gone...

As the title states, I can no longer browse or search manually, in order to add games that reside on my system that Cortex cannot see and add.

The only "options" I have and see, are program-files (not games) that are listed in the select game window when the + sign is clicked on; to add a game manually.

Version 7.3.32.179 Razer Central Installed, no updates detected.

Any help appreciated!

Hey there!

Thank you very much for sharing your concern with us here. My name is Michelle from the Razer Cortex PC technical support team. I will be happy to assist you with your issue.

Since this feature 'Browse' is security-related, we removed it from the latest version of Cortex to enhance security. We will add it in a future version of Razer Cortex.

Here if you want to add a game, please launch your game from desktop or any other place on your PC with Razer Cortex processing in the background. And see whether the game can be added automatically on your Cortex MY LIBRARY.

If you still cannot add your game successfully by using the above method, please reinstall your game and try not to customize the installation path. If you must, please just change the disk and keep the other part. For example, Osu's default installation path is C:\\Users\\michelle.chang\\AppData\\Local\\osu!\\osu!.exe. Please keep the red part and customize the other part. Then, use the method I mentioned above to try again to add this game to your library.

Please feel free to let me know if this issue persists.

Thank you for your patience.

Michelle

Could you please let me know which game you wanted to add to Cortex? Is your game installed in the default position? If not, please re-install it and if you must customize the installation path, please only customize the drive part and keep the other parts. Then, click the scan icon to try to add the game automatically.

Thank you very much for your patience!

Adding link to desktop worked. It found the game then as well as lots of others that were on the same ext drive. All i did was place one Icon. Cortex must have saw the ext drive and did auto scan
I cannot add Valorant in Razer Cortex their are no updates or anything when i press that plus icon a UI opens up and Valorant doesn't show up also browse doesn't show up. So in your support website it says click on the plus icon and if you cannot find your game press browse mean while their is not button or UI called "Browse"
Please Help
None of these steps worked for me. I am trying to add Banished. It's a DRM-free game straight from the developer/publisher not the version that's on Steam.
If for security reasons you don't want Cortex to offer a browse directory feature, can you at least let us copy/paste the file path of a game executable into Cortex instead? We can browse for our files outside of Cortex and then paste the file path into it so Cortex can add our games to the library.

EDIT: Or let us drag and drop the game executable or short cut onto the Cortex game library screen.
Okay, so since no one from Razer seems willing to respond further I will share a way to manually add games to your Cortex Game Library. I stumbled upon this accidentally this morning while within the Razer Synapse app.

In the Razer Synapse app click on the Profiles tab at the top. Select any of your devices on the left-hand side of the window and on the right-hand side where it says, "Linked Games" click it, or the plus-sign and the "Select a Game" window will pop up and you can use that to browse for your game. After you find your game and select it, it will now be visible and listed in your Game Library.

I hope this helps others.
This is helpful, however, I found out that you can only have one profile per game. I play World of Warcraft and have multiple characters which have several specs each. I seem to remember when I had a razer mouse that I could setup multiple profiles depending upon which character I was playing using the same game information.

When did this change?
