So i got the razer cynosa chroma at christmas 2019, and randomly, earlier today, the c key glitched and now acts as the left alt key.

  • I have tried rebooting my pc
  • I have tried uninstalling the driver for my keyboard and reinstalling it
  • I have tried spamming my keys until keyboard works
  • And rebinding and tinkering in synapse 3
  • I have tried switching my usb ports as well

None of those seemed to help in the slightest manner possible. The issue also is at my lock screen, so its not a software issue or a hardware issue, but have been led to believe its a firmware issue, and i dont know how to reset it, or install new firmware. (this post was alot longer beforehand but then my internet glitched out)

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Cynosa Chroma's concern here. Have you tried using the keyboard while Razer Synapse 3.0 is closed or disabled? If it is feasible, please connect the keyboard to a different computer and see if the same behavior persists. By the way, you can reset the keyboard by going to Razer Synapse 3.0's settings then clicking "Reset". Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
