Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro: Driver Issues, Not detected on Synapse App

So after I bought the mouse, I used it wired, and it works fine for a couple of days, it detected on Synapse App and everything worked.

Then after yesterday, I tried using it wirelessly connecting it to the wireless dongle, it works, but the Synapse App completely stopped detecting the mouse. I can't change DPI or any mouse settings, it also showed up as "Driver error" in window settings. Now even when I switch back to wired connection, the mouse still don't get detected on the Synapse App seems broken.

What I tried:
1) I tried reinstalling the Synapse App multiple times, doesn't do anything.
2) I tried reinstalling the driver in the Device Manager, doesn't do anything.

I tried to search it online, there's literally nothing regarding DeathAdder V3 at all, not even driver/firmware software page on Razer website. [https://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=76&nav=0]

Have you tried full clean reinstall?

  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  • Then restart your PC
  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

I did try a similar process using the Device Detection Troubleshoot Tool (https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5776). I followed the process, uninstall Synapse, wipe my drivers, reboot, reinstall, but still getting the same driver error and Synapse App still doesn't detect my mouse.

I'd try to remove the mouse from device manager (with drivers), then try to search for new devices - it'll probably appear with driver error again, if so - right click on it, select update drivers, choose browse computer for driver software, then go to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer, you'll probably have some folder called PIDxxxx, open it, choose ini file, click OK, there should be correct model appearing in the window, then click on next etc.

I tried removing the mouse unplug/replug the mouse, I still keep getting the driver error. When I try updating the driver using the Razer path, I get a prompt saying that the best driver is already installed, so no luck there.

In Devices and Printer window, when inspecting the mouse device, I see there are a lot of drivers there and all seems to be showing status "this device is working properly". Yet, I still keep getting the "Driver Error" in the "Bluetooth & Other devices" window and my Synapse App still don't detect my mouse.

I wonder if there's a way to pinpoint exactly which driver is causing the issue or inspect more on "Driver Error" details.

Hi megabully,

Please gather the Synapse logs from your PC and share them with me through PM so I can start a case and raise your concern to the software team for further diagnosis.
