Razer Electra V2 USB Weird screeching a few months after the warranty expired

Around 2 years ago, I bough a razer electra v2 usb headset, around a month or tow ago, AFTER the warranty expired, it started producing a weird screeching sound, it's not a driver issue, i've tried them on a few different pcs and my laptop running linux and it's still the same. What's happening is, it plays audio normally and on top of that it also makes a screeching noise. And as if the above isn't enough, the rubber/plastic on the cable has started degrading and is getting sticky, the same thing happened to my razer hammerhead v2's, only the hammerheads now only produce sound from one side.
I've gotten more mileage from cheap chinese earbuds in the past, needless to say, I'm never spending my money on razer's cheaply made, crap quality products again.
