Razer is a great company and them expanding would help to shape the industry. More competition is good.

Going PLC has hardly any negatives, there will be more stock funding, more people to help scrutinize and make sure the products being brought in are truly wanted by the public, should be a good thing.

i would never touch an IPO of any tech company just because of how impossible it is to valuate ingenuity and ability to keep up with trends. but once the dust settles, i think razer would be a good investment and would benefit from the influx of capital. it helps that it theyre not rushing it just to get extra cash. plus they have a proven track record of responding to market trends and customer feedback and have good brand loyalty for continued sales.

I'm little bit worried after seeing this. I'm not sure how I fell about this. Someone can buy part of Razer? I don't know how it's gonna affect on the future of the company. But still I don't understand it in 100% so I'm just speculating. If Mr.Min decided to do this, then it's done on purpose. I hope he never forgets about gamers :)
Best of luck for Razer!! #FGBG

This is a good thing. Might consider investing just to get a change in their support team.

I don't see any negatives coming from this. Hopefully being publicly traded will cause push from them to reform their customer service and only improve other things. I feel like Razer could get huge if they continue to expand and fix their current flaws.

Ehhh...I'm on the fence for this one. I'm not convinced it's all good news.

The extra capital and publicity can be a double edged sword. Razer is able to listens to users, be agile, and stay cool because it has remained small. They have catered to us gamers so well because they've basically been doing whatever they want. That ability is diminished when a company grows. Getting big isn't always good. The CEO said himself that if Razer ever becomes too business-oriented like traditional big companies, he'll quit. There's a lot of factors to consider...company politics come into play, conflicting interests, and they risk the chance of becoming too top-heavy.

Nonetheless, I think it's probably about time. Razer has reached the point where its popularity is overwhelming them. This leads to problems like delays, backorders, supply not meeting demand, not releasing products in other countries, iffy customer service, and quality control issues.

Razer has gained a ton of popularity, especially because of their Blades. It has been fun watching this 1 billion dollar company take jabs 500+B companies like Apple. The things they have been able to pull off as a small company are nothing short of amazing. But it's probably time for them to go public.

All in all, it sounds like Razer understands all this and is making sure they're ready before pulling the trigger. I have faith and will support them until the day they stop focusing on gamers.
