Hi guys, So i usually game with my Kraken (3.5mm audio jack). Recently my computer's audio jack port got busted, so i started gaming instead with my Hammerhead BT, since i'm planning to change rigs. One thing i realise is when Windows 10 pairs with my Hammerhead, it creates two playback devices. This i understand, Windows does this to most bluetooth devices. Sample below. Headphones (BT Stereo) sounds good, and BT Hands-Free is tuned for audio calls, not great audio. However, when is start playing certain games, in this case Destiny 2, it starts to switch from BT Stereo to Earphones when i go in game. Sounds terrible. But there dont seem to be a way to switch back to BT Stereo. What i have tried. Disabling Headset Earphones BT Hands-Free: in menu game sounds fine, when game loads, sound goes off. Switching from Windows 10 audio menu: On switch game audio disappears (refusing to use BT Stereo) no way to switch audio hardware in game Here's what i know. this is tied to the use of mic (in game chat). When Destiny loads game, Windows assume u will be using the mic, and the Hammerhead BT detects you want mic, and switches to BT Hands-Free mode. Headset works so well on my iPhone 6s. Has anyone ever encountered this problem? any potential solution or firmware update?
