Razer Huntsman TE Crashing Explorer.exe on Startup

Windows 10 21H1 only, reverting back to 20H2 fixes the problem.

I've tested it also by logging in without the keyboard plugged in, and my desktop loads smoothly. Restarting the PC while the keyboard is plugged in slows down the startup because the keyboard is crashing explorer.exe.

I've tried it also with Synapse on startup, and off. Problem still applies either way, as long as the keyboard is plugged in during startup.

Might be a firmware problem? Is there any update for this keyboard to make it compatible with 21H1?

Do you have problem with crashing start menu and "frozen" desktop on windows start?
I've encountered this kind of issue (explorer.exe crashing) on the newest 21H1 version (20H2 version was fine, till some update). It's some strange Windows bug, currently only workaround that I've find is to turn off fast startup option (fast boot) in Windows power options.

Yep exactly this one. Frozen taskbar, then when I click on it or press the Windows key, screen will flash black for a second and reload the explorer.exe (I'm assuming).

Go with this workaround to disable fast startup on Windows 10:

For me it helped, but it's not a fix of the problem (only workaround).

Weird though, I tried to disable fast startup as per your post, but it was already disabled. I downgraded to 20H2 just to be sure for now.

You can always re-enable it, restart and disable it again.
Maybe you can also try disable hibernation, because Fast boot option is using some kind of hybrid hibernation, causing boot faster (because some files are hibernated).

But if you're on 20H2, try disabling fast boot only.

Btw. What are your system specs? Are you using AMD CPU?

I'll try to enable the 21H1 update again and try that out. What's weird before in 21H1, is if I wait for maybe a minute or two before inputting my PIN to login in Windows, it boots fast and the taskbar (or explorer.exe) is not stuck anymore. 20H2 is smooth for me.
