    Hey guys! I'm not sure where to post this honestly but i will post it here just in case someone else has the same issue as i did and happens to read this.

    First off I was having an issue seeing my name and my Razer ID under my external accounts. Now, what I did to fix this was download Razer Comms, install it and login with my account info. You will then want to go to settings and profile and promptly fill in the required information. Next I disassociated my Razer ID from my Razer ID account and it threw the whole thing into a crazy fit of rage! Next thing you know I could no longer sign into my account as it tried prompting me to create a new ID! The way to easily fix this is to associate a twitter account or facebook account with your Razer ID.

    In order to associate the account with your Razer ID of which you might no be able to sign into just go ahead and select facebook or twitter as the login method. You will get to a part that will ask if you want to associate it with an account. Now, this was the confusing part for me.. I had an email from Razer Insider shortly after I disassociated my ID from my insider account saying my password was changed. You will type your username into that box and the new password sent to your email (if this happens to you, if not use your old one) and it will finally log you in and you'll have your name and Razer ID associated with your external accounts now!

    I hope this helps someone, i realize someone else had found the Name fix and a potential ID fix but the ID fix never worked for me. Hopefully this fixed your name and ID! Good luck with the CES Appreciation sale!

    TL;DR

    Step 1: Install Comms and edit profile information.

    Step 2: Disassociate Razer ID from Razer Insider account.

    Step 3: Sign into Razer Insider with Twitter or Facebook.

    Step 4: Fill in account association box with username and password (check your email if your password doesn't work) and accept.

    Step 5: Check external accounts for updated information.

    You can do the steps i provided. It worked for me!

    Step 1: Install Comms and edit profile information.

    It happened to me as well.. unfortunately I saw another thread mentioning to disassociate your razer ID first, which I did a couple minute ago.. And what happened after that when I re-login to Razer Insider, they prompted me again to specify with User ID and email (as per usual new ID setup) then they mentioned that my User ID and email had already used before.. So now I am stuck with this fresh new account again.. :confused:

    Yes, that is the exact thing that happened to me. That's why i posted this tutorial.

    This is for those that are missing a name and ID. Check your email for a new password and try my tutorial. :) May or may not work.

    After disassociating and re-creating my ID, now it should be working fine.. Counting down and so excited to finally get myself a new Razer Keyboard (hopefully everything goes well)..:)

    I see! Glad you got a solution. Good luck on getting a new keyboard. It might be a struggle. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    I attempted this and it didn't work. I then disassociated my ID and it wouldn't let me sign into my old account. I got an email with a new password and it didn't work. I would type the old password in and it tried making me make an entire new account and then told me it was already in use. This gave me access back to my account without making a new one. I'll include that in the OP.

    Really annoyed about this - I can't even use your fix because my password is invalid every time. This is not an issue of forgetting it - the password works with my Razer ID and I even changed it, but it's just not accepted using your method with signing in via Facebook or Twitter. I submitted a support ticket but for now I've got to use a temporary account.

    That's where I believe I should have submitted one, if I should have done something else then it'd be useful to get help on this. It's been nearly two days and haven't had a response to the inquiry, but it's probably because Razer's got a lot going on and their support's getting a lot of traffic.
