Do you think, that new rewads system at Razer Insider will improve overall quality of post in Forums?
Will we see individuals spaming all formus in order to get their hands at top prizes?

It will likely see more people discussing, may not improve quality. You'll likely see some spam, but if it's moderated efficiently, they won't stick around. No point posting if you're not eligible for the rewards because you spammed.

An upvote system. Make it 500 upvotes to get a reward or something like that! That way actually good posts will send users closer to nice rewards!

I think a points deduction is all that is needed. -10 points for a post considered as spam

Yeah especially these back to back post. You have to combine them into one post.

TBH it should be done automatically at this point...

The problem with being rewarded for having upvoted posts is that that can also be abused. I don't think many people use the "like" option on posts on here too much because there's lack of incentive. All it takes is someone upvoting everything to make it meaningless.

Never really thought of that... I guess it would still work 9/10 times!

Or perhaps have a daily upvote limit?

I think it's an interesting way to get people into your forums! and they spaced the rewards out nicely so you actually have to be a active member to get anything from the higher end. That being said it would be nice to see more advertising about this site in general I didn't even know about it any of this razer stuff and I've been using th products for awhile!

Honestly, I really don't think it's going to cause an increase of quality posts -.-
There has definitely been a LOT more posts lately, but I've seen a crap ton of them being just spamming posts or posts that are legitimate discussion topics, but only made to increase post count. I know the off-topic area is there for a reason, but when one person makes 2+ posts asking about people's favorite foods/drinks or something, you know it's really only being done to increase posts count.

The best is when you click on "Recent Posts" (from the seach dropdown), and 80% of the responses are from the same person, and within a minute of each other.

Sometimes you can look at that and think, "Ok, {Well-Known / Active Member} has a little bit of free time on their hands; let's see what they have to say!"

And the other times it's, "I've never seen that tag before in my life! Who is this? What? Account created on Wednesday and they have 75 posts already? Hmmmm . . . "

    It's all public.

Yeah that's quite annoying. Good that it's all public, though I don't usually go digging in all that, lol
I'm also on another forum in the same design/style as here, same forum provider I believe as well. The TubeBuddy forums. On there, people often join the forums and just say "Hey, check my vid!" Or "Hey, sub me, I sub you!" or some crap like that. They do it multiple times too.
There was a point, a couple months ago, where every single day, there'd be like 5 new accounts that would spam 40+ posts each, all with the same stuff for love potions and spells and that, with phone numbers.
They all got deleted some time later, along with all their posts though, but it was like, the worst thing.

That is issue I see in this "motivation" - You can always spam wall of text somewhere, but only result will lead into quantity of useless posts. You can argue, that once those users will reach 500 posts, they stop theirs spam - untill there will be next level :-D

But is it really something Razer Insider should be about?

I for sure understand, that you can tell, we have milion post per day at our community platform.

Good idea to punish spammers, so it can decrease number of people who want only spam to get rewards.

There were and there are advertising on Razer Insider, there was several campaigns that "forced" you to visit Razer Insider, but I just hope, that at the end this will not lead into crazy mess with ppl reacting to everything - You can make 500 posts pretty fast, if you visit every offtopic forum and type in your favourite Min / coffe / game / beer / wine / player / actor / musician / ... I can go on.

Who of those ppl will return to contribute meaningfull posts in future?

Is there anyway I can get access to my Necklace code? These new rewards don't seem very rewarding when your previous rewards were physical merch and anything in the store requires grinding for days

Please note that obtaining something using zSilver does not require any kind of grinding at all. It is only going to require that if you are not taking advantage of the zSystem to buy games.

A lot of people are complaining about how long it will take to earn enough zSilver to get this and that (and the Razer Chroma Mug Holder), but grinding is, in fact, the SLOWEST way to earn zSilver.

The fastest way? Buy games Gamer'sGate and IndieGala using zGold. If you're a hardcore gamer, it won't take you long at all.

    Awesome! Thank you!

I don't buy games a lot and I will most likely use these program now that I'm aware of them but it sucks because I joined a few days ago and it all looked so nice but now I can't even get a DeathAdder Elite with the points sadly
