    I recently installed Gamma and the Razer streaming app. I was soon greeted by McAfee saying a virus was present and that it removed it. Is there a problem with the software? Or was it just me?

    Hi DeathPhantomAJ,
    Regarding your issue with the antivirus detecting a virus was present and that it removed it, I think the antivirus detecting Gamma as a threat.

    Along with @xCryptik said, you can also get in touch with the McAfee team support and report it as Benign (give them a sample of the exe file, probably as a zip file) so that they can add it as a whitelist and push it in their next definition updates for the Anti Virus.
