so here's my question, did Razer just decided to abandon asia altogether and just stick to the US?

my Razer Phone is Singapore based. so far... i cant find any accessories, the security patch is still the security patch september 2017 version. or literally. not a single patch ever since launch. we have had 2-3 updates since then. but none here.

did they just abandon Razer Phone asia? did they just go fuck it and cut their losses while they can and stick to US? or did they just decided to abandon the Phone altogether like they did all their other "experimental" products?

where are the news? the official announcements?

im this close to just selling this phone away before Razer decided they just close production and wont support it anymore. get out before this phone becomes a worthless second hand market product. cause so far. i feel like they just abandoned the asia market.

I love Razer to the bottom... but sad to say its kinda true =( still no update for Singapore........as mine is an imported unit.

Guess we gotta be a little patient huh. I still love the razer phone tho. thumbs up for that =)
  3. Can you not just change your region to North America?
Or use a north american factory image on it

i could, but that means i would lose my warranty and resetting/ deleting every data on phone. not to mention risk of bricking. which all could easily be avoided if they would release any of those updates.

I am in HKG, and I got all security updates up to JAN 2018, so maybe not Asia, just Singapore?

good to know. looks like singapore is screwed. any other asian countries?
  7. Same here for South Asia, no security patch updates since September 2017.
At least the fans deserve a timelime for updates or the information regarding jumping straight to Oreo.
In such a competitive android market, this doesn't take the company a long way ahead.

Mine is from SG as well but I flashed the latest factory image. So far good :smile_:
I hope we get a custom ROM soon so we don't have to wait for a region-wise update.
As far as I can see Razer is not keeping up with their promises since beginning

The delays in getting the updates are due to additonal carrier certification. At this time, we launch as soon as we can for the stock images and work closely with the carriers to update it for their images.

Technically we can launch it all at the same time, but it isn't bringing the carrier image updates first, it's basically delaying the stock image updates.

in all seriousness though. it seems like you guys skipped 2 updates and just bring us this one. i really dont want to flash the images and risk losing warranty. but thank god for the reply. at least now i know you guys arent abandoning us in singapore. just.... late

i hope this wont be the case for Oreo update as well... i hate to wait 4-6 months after the US version got theirs
