my razer kiyo says "The current settings on your camera is different from Razer Synapse" and I can not use any of the camera settings, the kiyo works fine with other software. I have reset the device, reinstalled synapse 3, and more but it still says that, any way to fix it.

I did reach out to razer and they replied, they gave me some things to try, none worked, and asked for some info, waiting for the 2nd reply.

I have the same problem, pressing the button doesn't make them disappear so it's impossible to use Synapse.
I tried to reinstall Synapse 3 clean, change the drivers, update Windows 10 nothing worked. However, on my laptop everything works fine. I contacted Razer, but so far none of their solution has worked on my pc.
ya I reinstalled synapse and drivers and nothing worked, I contacted razer support and they have not responded yet,I even got a razer update yesterday and it is still broken, so I think the camera is messed up and sending a signal to the razer software.
What I don't understand is why everything works fine on my laptop. This is definitely not the camera but a bug that Razer needs to patch.
I'm waiting for their new answer tomorrow, I'll tell you if I have anything new;)

Having the same issue. Just got the webcam today.
I've seen bugs related to this in the forums for many months now. Is Razer planning on addressing this ever or should we just return these cameras ? im not gonna wait a year for a patch - i'd like to utilize the camera I thought would work for my purposes.

I had someone from Raze all afternoon to fix the problem but nothing yet. From what I read on this forum it is indeed a bug that lingers. The cause remains undetermined for me, I sent them my synapse logs. He should contact me tomorrow I will ask him if a patch is planned by the developers (as soon as possible) 🙂

about a patch I have had 2 synapse updates the last 3 days and none fixed it
I'm having the EXACT same issue. It's the damn software I tell you. Why are they taking so long for a fix is beyond me.
The problem is that it's not just the software, otherwise it wouldn't work on any pc while on one of my other pc it works perfectly. There is an "incompatibility" on a lot of pc, what you need to know now is where this bug comes from.
My two pc are totally different, one is a pc that I built myself with a Ryzen 3, a b450m-a, a GTX 1660, W10 Pro and the other is a laptop from Lenovo the Ideapad 110-15ACL with an AMD A4 and W10 Home. The reason why on the Lenovo synapse is working properly is incomprehensible.

it's not exactly the same problem though? the camera can be used without a synapse but it is very handicapping in its operation

Getting the same problem here, can't change any settings or even see the preview. Just got the cam today.
Exact same issue here.. Windows 10, latest drivers, firmware, software, everything.
Same for me I have all the drivers installed correctly. I am on the latest version of Windows 10 (20H2) and the latest version of synapse.

For the moment I have no information, for my part I keep it because I have nothing better for the same price even without a synapse. With OBS I can still adjust it correctly even if discord sometimes manages the camera badly
They should give us a solution ... The camera isn't cheap ... You know what I mean. So please. Will you help us, Razer?
