Razer Kraken 2019 Microphone Issue

I just received a pair of Razer Kraken 2019 headphones in the mail, and ordered them hoping to take advantage of the 7.1 surround sound for my games. When I set it up, I played with the audio settings in Windows Sound settings to make it sound the way I wanted. However, when I joined Discord with a couple of my friends to play a game, they said they heard feedback of my game coming through my mic. I spent some time trying to fix the problem, but no forum or anything reported any solution to this. I made sure it was connected properly, set as default, and all of the other recommended trials. To test that the problem is with the headset, I also tried playing sound in Open Broadcast Software to monitor my microphone activity, and found that the problem was in fact with the headset, and not just Discord. I would appreciate any and all assistance, as I would be disappointed to have to return the product in search of a working replacement or something that compares.

I can help you with this as i had the same issue with my Razer Kraken V2 Pro. After some time messing around i figured out that if you plug the splitter in the mother board and not the front then that it works perfectly! Have fun using your new headset.
