From the online reviews I've read, the Thresher TE isn't really that good compared to the Kraken 7.1 V2. I'll be receiving my pair of Kraken 7.1s tomorrow so I might update my first impressions here.

Okay so update: I just received my Kraken 7.1 V2s and they aren't too bad.

Audio quality: they're quite bass heavy. But they sound pretty good (better than expected) for its price. [Disclaimer: I use a pair of CA Lyra IIs so my judgement may be quite skewed. I don't know how other headphones around this price range sound like but if you want to focus on just audio quality i think there are better options. What got me to try the Kraken 7.1 V2 is because i needed a microphone and thought that it would be convenient.]

Microphone: Quite clear and didn't pick up ambient noise when i used a microphone testing app.

Comfort: It's quite bulky/heavy i guess. Need to get used to it. Mine has the oval ear cushions instead of circular ones so my ears get a bit hot as well (i stay in a humid country).

I have the Kraken 7.1 V2's and I've never had any issue with them. I also have the oval ear cushions, but I find they are more comfortable than round ones because there is less pressure on your ears when wearing them for long periods (but I don't live in a warm country so I don't have the same issue as Louyar).
The sound quality is good for the price, and the mic is better than most I've tried, even stand-alone mics! the V2's also allow you to press a small button on the mic to mute yourself if you need to quickly (has a small red LED to show when it is muted).
My only small comment might be on the ridiculously long cable for them, but in a way it is good since it lets me walk away from my desk and do things around me whilst still having the headphones on!

You can adjust the audio settings in Synapse. I believe there is a tuning guide on YT to get much more accurate audio... Just look it up. And yes, the feel takes a while to get used to. I use ManO'war, I thought I hated them until about a week in lol!

Bonjour, j'ai le Kraken 7.1 v2 et je peux vous assurer que celui-ci est plus que confortable, je le porte au moins 4 heures par jour pendant 3 mois et franchement je le recommande encore une fois à Razer.
