I recently bought Razer Kraken Pro
I don't know why but my laptop is not detecting the headset
It does work to hear from the headset, but the microphone is not working
Also my laptop didn't detect my headset

    I use ASUS-G550JX ROG
It has only 1 plug in audio/mic so i didn't use the splitter

Have you tried using the Krakens with something else to see if the mic works? I had a similar issue with my Blacksharks and rMBP, still not resolved it as the computer is getting the logic board replaced which very well may have been the issue.

I suggest following what Burgz stated here for the reasons he stated.

I would suggest checking the Razer site for drivers first off. Not all of their devices require drivers because of Synapse now but its a start.

Second I would try and use something like a USB analog adapter and seeing if that helps.

3rd I would right click on your audio icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Go to recording devices and see if the headset is selected for the default device. If it isn't right click on it and set it as default device. Also be sure to check the disabled devices for the headset.

In addition to the steps I outlined I would suggest plugging in a different audio device and see if it works properly.

Let me know if it works! Best of luck.

The Kraken Pros are analog, the Chroma ones are USB.

I meant an adapter that you plug analog into that connects via USB into your PC.

    Nothing will happen :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Kraken Pro is not a digital headset, and it's not Synapse 2.0 enabled, hence it will not be detected by a PC. As for the mic, did you try checking the contact between the 3.5mm jack and the mic port on your laptop? Also, if you're using Realtek HD Audio, try checking the Realtek HD Audio Manager, under ANALOG port's tasks.
