Razer Kraken Pro TE- Game Audio static

Hello to put this more into context ive been using the headset for my playstation, phone and everything else and it was previously working with a few hiccups on my pc here and there. Today however Game audio plays static and chat audio is just fine. ive tried switching usb ports, restarting the pc, disabling and reenabling but to no avail. i dont believe the cords to be damaged i take pretty good care of them and the headset works just fine on other platforms, its just the game audio thats screwey.. anyone know a fix?
