I disagree with you there Flame, I believe these ones are much more better and provide better sound and have more configurability.

    Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had their V2 shipped and compared it to the original Kraken Pro. Do you think the 50mm drivers are worth it compared to the 2012 Kraken pro?

You can google it or type it in youtube to see the review on both and see the comparison between them. The Razer Kraken V2 is a bit better and I would recommend that one over the first version

  13. why is it ''a bit better''?

i would like to know as well!!

Look at the specs of the Razer Kraken original then look at the Razer Kraken v2 and the sound is better + surround

  15. wow, that was helpful!!!!!!

can u tell me the major differences of the specs? im not really with specs and all that

    Hey,

At Razer we like to keep it a positive environment. Please respect everyone. :D

As for the specs. They have 50mm driver compared to 40mm drivers. Thats really the biggest difference. I don't know how much that actually affects the listening experience which is why I asked.

  18. yeah i know that

the thing is, this little kid has been posting useless responses in order to raise his post count (which is obviously against the rules) on literally every single thread. i was trying to get him to directly respond to my question. sadly, he can't help (as expected) so he has to refer to writing alternative responses which wouldn't help the average user

mods seem to be dead the past few days. they'll be back eventually and deal with him

you can his real intentions on the image below. if he actually contributed to threads, he wouldn't be having a 160:2 (post count / like) ratio.

i'll trigger him all i want LOL his gonna get banned anyway so why not :joy::joy::joy:

edit: just found out he joined 4 DAYS AGO LMAOOOOOOOOO

    ---

ill help u out in the meantime since the post above doesnt contribute to the thread

The 40mm offers more sound per mm at the same volume compared to the 50mm, but will have less theoretical soundstage because it ultimately covers less area around your ear. /s

Seriously, there's so much more to compare two different headphone drivers than their diameter. In fact, the diameter of the driver is possibly the least important spec.

hope that answers your question @Metacomet10
