As a Razer customer, I expect high quality gear, for a reasonable price. But I can not help but note how much the mark up is for rainbow lights. I own a couple different pairs of Razer headphones, and i love them all, however, I just recently purchased both the Kraken Pro, and the Kraken chroma 7.1 and I can tell you right now there is absolutely NO difference in audio quality. Upon Ordering the first pair, (the pro's) I received a key-code for RAZER SURROUND PRO, software that allows you to immerse yourself deep into gaming. But when I unplugged and tried out the chromas, i was astounded when i found that there was almost no quality difference. Now it is important to note that the chroma 7.1s are 25 to 30 dollars MORE expensive than the pros, and honestly that's ridiculous. To anybody who wants the tip top quality and doesn't feel like blowing 30 bucks on lights that don't even have the wave feature (my favorite) I would absolutely recommend the Kraken Pros. However if you need that extra bit, I would buy them refurbished from amazon.

See I am the sad act that will happily pay the extra little bit just for more pretty lights! I'm actually waiting for the day my 2014 Naga starts to die just so I can get the Chroma one and have even more colours!!!
