I've had my Kraken Pro for almost 2 years now without any problems (ignoring switching out the Ear cups for 10$ after an entire year of use) and I think the Mic quality is pretty decent. If you only wanna use it to talk to friends and play video games it's great! The only thing it'd not be satisfactory for is if you needed it for some voice recording job, but if that's the case you should get a more professional equipment anyway.

Only thing i hate about my Kraken is the cable, for most people it's long enough but since i want it to be plugged in the back of my pc there is very little room for movement, a USB extender solved this though :)
Works fine for daily and long use.
  4. Thank u, Silas18301!

Skywere, the cable is very longer, I have a big bedroom and I sleep with him.

You can buy a clip on microphone with good quality on things like amazon. I had one about a year ago and I have to say it really exceeded my expectations.

Microphones on all gaming headsets are bad, but for normal mumble or teamspeak use they are fine. Dont expect modmic or dedicated microphone level performance.

I have bought razr kraken with USB and it turned out it is not working with XBOX One - that's a pity, I think Microsoft should not exclude Razer Gamers....
