Razer Kraken V3 Pro silent audio when idle for a short time

Hi,

Does anyone have a fix for this? When connected wirelessly, if you don't play audio for a short while through the headset and after that, start playing audio again, the first approximate 0.5-1.0 secs is not audible on the headset. So what I mean for example:
- I play no audio for like a minute.
- I start playing audio again after that minute. Now, the first 0.5-1.0 seconds of what I'm playing is not audible.
It's not a delay because when I start hearing audio again after the 0.5-1.0 seconds, the timeline is as 0.5-1.0 seconds has already played.

I assume this is some sort of power saving function where it idles the headset if no audio is being played for a while but I can't turn it off anywhere and it's pretty annoying. Especially when you're like editing a video or similar. It doesn't matter if I turn THX on/off or which of the two Kraken output devices I select. Also, it is NOT the Synapse > Power > Power Saving option as that only triggers after 15mins. minimum and the behavior I'm experiencing triggers much, much faster.

Mine fully dies if I pause and then unpause or pick a new video. But I definitely have had that same issue before. Nothing I know to do about it.
Were you able to solve this problem? I recently encountered a similar bug.

If I pause and resume or switch videos, my computer completely dies. However, I have experienced this problem before. I don't know what to do.

I've just received mine today, and am also getting this issue (- the computer dying). Have you got any updates/fixes?
Same. Even after doing firmware update. I have sleep mode disabled and its still doing it. I can pause a video on one monitor for like 5 seconds tops and then hit play and it takes a few seconds for audio to start again.

Same issue here...among other issues sadly.
Balance is off half the time.
Volume settings on the headset makes balance off.
Heaset not detected by synapse 3, so I have to deco/reco usb dongle each and everytime I wish to use it.
Enabling thx inside synapse 3 muffles sound quality.
Sometimes making a jump foreward in video makes balance off, so I have to set headset on/off to get correct balance right.

It s been months, I ve tried everything Razer says and issues are still present..dunno what to do now....
A bit of a shame for a pro version of an headset...at a pro price....
Yeah I am sending mine for RMA and hoping that solves it. I have a feeling its something firmware related tho and nothing to do with the actual hardware.

Do you have vibrations on? Maybe that's the problem with them.

Hello, got my Kraken V3 Pro yesterday and I have the exact same issue even after firmware update. After some seconds of not playing any sound, the time i play music or anything else, the first 0.5 seconds are not audible. Tryed to switch usb ports and reinstalling synapse and no fix. Hope razer is aware of this and fix this asap.

Nah nothing yet. I don't think they really care. Cause most of the people that buy them dont use synapse. If u dont install that then you wont have the issues

I uninstalled the synapse and i still have the issue with sound not playing for half a second, I sent a ticket for support, guess I will return this headset. Thanks anyways.
For those looking for a fix like I was, go into razer synapse for the razer kraken v3 pro, go to lighting and disable brightness. for whatever reason this works.

Hey,
Lighting is off for me by default, I tried setting it on then back to off but it didn't solve the issue.

A little pointless ...
I buy headphones with RGB to make them look nice, but to be able to use them normally, I have to turn this function off ... something wrong here.
This is still an issue, and it's causing me TONS of problems. I already have the latest firmware update, which I installed as soon as I took it out of the box because I saw the complaints of the other issues this headset had. It is absolutely ridiculous. I've been a Razer customer for years and I have a lot of their products, and this is by far the lowest quality product I've ever seen them produce.

Edit: It seems Razer's wireless headsets are just absolute trash. (Their wired ones seem to be fine). I purchased a Razer Kraken Kitty Bluetooth Quartz for someone last year and they've had nothing but ridiculous problems too, and it made my gift seem very crappy after I spent an immense amount of money on it. Whatever Razer is doing in the wireless headset field, they are failing massively. I've been a fan since before they were even famous, and my first mouse was one of the very original Deathadders. I'm disgusted by the lack of support on these clearly known issues that they have provided. I'm also seeing a TON of complaints about the batteries in their Blade lines bloating, which is just awesome because I just purchased one. If Razer doesn't change their ways and get back to the quality that we are literally paying stupid amounts of money for, then I'm done with their products. I've defended and supported them for too many years to sit here and be victim to cheap outsourcing and scam sales because whoever their new CEO is has decided to cut corners in places they shouldn't be cut. **** knows they make enough money off of their customers to support and sell decent products.

Edit #2: I just love how their system is flagging my edited post as spam/malicious content to silence me from complaining. That's really low Razer. Especially for a company that had always been about making customers happy. I'm very disappointed right now.
Got the same problem as some of the people here. If the headset is left idle for a little while (e.g if I pause a video), the audio stops working until I turn it off and back on again. I bought my kraken v3 pro late October time (sometime round the 20th), so its a little concerning seeing how far back some of these complaints go.

I think I've found a fix to this specific problem. Other than restarting synapse, unplugging the dongle and praying until it works, I've found that

but that's not a solution in my opinion ... it's just a half-measure.
and its stopped working for me now. No matter what I do it just cuts out after a while of being idle.
