Razer Kraken X Microphone Issue - HELP!

Hi everyone,

I've just received my Razer Kraken X today, and I'm enjoying it thus far, however I have a few concerns that need clarifying/help with. However, it may just be due to my incompetence as this is my first gaming headset I've ever purchased.

Firstly, once plugging it in, downloading and installing the 7.1 Surround Sound application, everything seemed okay, however I noticed that the Kraken X microphone was not detected, and I couldn't find it anywhere on the "Recording" section of the Sound panel. The only options are "Microphone Realtek(R) Audio" and "Stereo Mix Realtek(R) Audio". Testing on Discord shows that the former is in fact my laptop microphone, hence I haven't found any option that correlates to my Kraken X microphone.

Are there any drivers that need to be downloaded, I've checked and both Razer Synapse 2 & 3 (beta) are incompatible with the Kraken X, which I suppose is expected considering this isn't one of the main Kraken family lines.

My laptop is a Dell G7 running Windows 10 64-bit with an Intel Core i5 (8th Gen) with 8GB RAM, if that helps.

Thanks for your time!

P.S. Images are of what I see on my Sound Panel, and if any explanation on what the "Internal AUX Jack" is that would be much appreciated, however if this is all correct do let me know!

The best way to test if the mic is still functional would be to plug it into a smartphone. If it still works, then try to update if not reinstall your Realtek drivers. Do send me a PM should you need further assistance.
