Razer Kraken X USB, Not Working with 7.1 Surround App.

    Hi there,

    I have an issue with my PC being able to play back 7.1 Srround audio through my Kraken X Headphones.

    My Kraken X USB headphones can be seen in the 7.1 Surround software dropdown as "(Razer Kraken X USB)" AND also as "(7.1 Surround Sound)" but when I select the "(7.1 Surround Sound)" option, then select that to be my default audio output I still hear nothing?

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled all recent audio card drivers, all the most recent Razer Surround drivers as well as multiple versions of Synapse to see if this might help. It hasn't.

    My Kraken X USB headphones come up as mutiple sources on Windows. One called "(7.1 Surround Sound)" another as "Speakers (7.1 Srround Sound)" and the last one and only one that works "Speakers (Razer Kraken X USB)". Nut that is only stereo.

    I am currently on a clean install of all drivers which are the most up to date versions and windows is up to date too.

    I have tested them on my Razer Blade laptop and everything installed with no issues and worked well a few weeks ago, but as of today when i want to use them on my PC rig they will not work...extremely frustrating.
    The version of 7.1 Surround Sound Software on my Blade is _V1.0.1.3 and the version on my PC is _V1.0.125.158 (the only version that I can download from your site.

    My PC has a Sound Blaster Recon 3Di sound card...could that be the issue? I have installed the latest drivers for that too.

    Does anyone else have a similar issue or can someone from support help me get _V1.0.1.3 Surround Sound so I can see if that resolves the issue?

    Hey there! Sorry to hear about your ongoing Razer Kraken USB's concern. Have you tried reinstalling Razer Synapse 3.0 with registry delete and reinstalling the 7.1 Surround Sound? Should the issue persists, please send me a PM together with your headset's serial number. Let's continue from there.
