Razer laptop switches from 240hz refresh rate to 60hz when connected to second monitor.

On the 15th of march 2021 i bought a Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model - QHD 240Hz - GeForce RTX 3070 - Black and i was and still am very happy with it. Now a few days ago i bought a second monitor and i was very excited to connect it to my laptop. When i connect it it changes my laptop refresh rate from 240hz to 60hz and i cant change it back. I thought it was just the monitor so i send it back and got a new one and the same problem was still there. I still had hope and bought a different monitor and i again still had the same problem. Even at my new internship when i connect a second monitor the same thing happens so i dont think it has to do with the second monitor. When i take a look in the Nvidia control panel i can see that when i connect my second monitor my laptop monitor just dissapears on the control panel which is probably the reason why i cant change it. I can find both monitors in the device manager when connected. I also had a problem since i got this laptop that i cant change the laptop refresh rate in the razer app or windows display settings but only in the nvidia control panel so that is also something weird and maybe something that has to do with all of this. I hope i can be helped with my problem. Sorry for the big chunk of text btw but i just want to explain everything thoroughly. Thank you in advance.
