I have the RAZER LEVIATHAN. Loving it so much for the past year! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

Now they have the MINI version that is more portable, how is the quality compare to the original soundbar? Does it worth having both?
Anyone have both and could say a bit on the sound quality please.

Somewhere here on the forums someone had said that they were very happy with their Leviathan Mini and the sound. I can't say from personal experience, but if the Mini is anywhere near the full-sized Leviathan in sound quality for it's size, then I can't think of any reason not to go for it. I have the full-sized myself, and I'm still considering a mini as well.

It's tough to compare the two since both are a different beast and meet different demands. Of course on the mini, the speakers are much smaller, containing 2 45mm drivers, and 2 40mm passive radiators. While the Regular Leviathan has 63mm drivers and 19mm tweeters, and a big ol' subwoofer. With that said, I have an idea of what each probably sounds like without actually hearing a sound comparison of the two.

I'd say the mini favors more in the mid range, what you'd typically get in a really good pair of headphones. You would still get a pretty good presence of bass and decent highs, but nothing compared to the original Leviathan. The mini will do everything that you throw at it, definitely a workhorse for music on the go and out in the elements.

Now the original Leviathan.. I believe that you will get a much wider spectrum of highs and lows at a far greater deliverance. It is designed for a theater quality experience, multi directional audio. I can picture deep and powerful lows that rumble the floor and can be felt straight through your body, very present highs that surround your entire room. Plus, the original Leviathan has EQ presets depending on what you intend to use it for.

With all this said, Is the mini worth it? It is if you require a very good, high quality portable system, no wires attached. Does it match the quality of the original Leviathan? No. I would definitely recommend the original over the mini if it is to remain stationary on a computer desk or TV stand.

If you buy it with the 50% dicount tomorrow, why not. For 100 bucks it´s a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the big mini review :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I do agree it must be different. For the same price of the mini (original price), does it out performs other similar ones?

Sadly in Asia, none is available yet. And in UK, the tax is a bit high for that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: will think about it in this coming 12 hours!!!

Oh I'd definitely think so. the only competitor the Leviathan mini has, as far as similar specs, weight, portability, etc. is the Bose Soundlink Mini. The Soundlink Mini runs a slightly higher in price, but you really get a little more bang for the buck out of the Leviathan mini.

I bought the Mini during the sale, received and I have to say the quality is amazing, sadly I can't compare the Leviathan because I don't own it. I think the mini is more orientated music/films et and the Leviathan for gaming itself
