Not sure if anyone picked up on it, but Razer released a new mouse named the "Razer Mamba Elite" I think today or yesterday, odd that they never made a post here about it.

The Mamba Elite is pretty much the Mamba TE with the same shell as far as I can tell, but it has the 16,000 DPI sensor that many of us have wanted in the mamba since it came out, nice to see they went ahead and made it. This is kind of a calling for me, since my Mamba TE is starting to have some sensor issues. Might have one of those picked up by the end of the summer ;).

I will also delete this post if they happen to make their own for it, or if I get asked to delete it.

Sweet!, I wonder what the scroll wheel grip actually looks like as there are 2 versions of it in the pictures:rolleyes:

Read on reddit that this uses the 3389 sensor.

Looks mighty nice, might pick one up!
Would love to see pics showing the extended lighting!

Yeah I noticed that too but never mentioned it, someone managed to get their hands on one already though and did a review on YouTube comparing it to the deathadder elite, and to me his looks like somewhat like the scroll wheel the Mamba TE has with the dots, but looks like there might be more then the mamba te has. It also looked like there was some kind of button on the bottom, not sure though.
I think what the extended lighting means is just the same lighting that’s on the Mamba te as well (or from what it looks like in the review video), they just called it extended because it has more lighting going up the side then other mice from Razer, I don’t see much of a difference lighting wise.

Edit: also saw another video, and the guy reviewing the mouse picked it up at bestbuy already, bit of a different release from Razer to put it on store shelves before promoting it.

Saw the Reddit post yesterday as well. I was hoping they'd make a fancy Chroma mouse with the same hand shape as the Deathadder with the new optical sensor. I have the Mamba TE and DeathAdder Chroma, I prefer the look of the Mamba but after playing games with both I prefer the DeathAdder's sensor, and that's the 4G optical sensor not the new 5G one. Probably going to buy the new Mamba once Newegg gets it.

I'm kinda in love with it. To be fair, Mamba TE was my very first Razer product (awwwww) and maybe it's triggering some nostalgic feels, but it definitely is the refresh it deserves. Updated mechanical mouse switch and optical sensor with the sexy side Chroma? I'm all over it. Literally, my hand is all over it. Like right now. Well not now, because I'm typing. Now it is. Left hand typing FTW.

My Mamba TE is my most used Razer Product, used more then my Deathadder 2013 and Deathadder Chroma combined. In fact, taking a look at it, the paint (or finish) around the Razer logo is starting to come off, so you can see a bunch of little dots with the chroma lighting shining through it. I'm working on saving for the Mamba Elite, hoping it comes to stores soon since the sensor on this one is starting to go bad and freezes on and off every couple of hours for some reason.

Have you found your mouse has loose and or mushy side buttons on it, and does it click well? I read on reddit that some people are having issues on it being mushy and stuff.
Also, is there a button looking thing on the bottom of it by the sensor like this photo? Screenshot_1.png

No buttons are NOT mushy they are really clicky and feel good. The profile button is there and works fine, the only thing different about under the mouse is there is only the FCC logo and no other logos meaning it was released in the US first

Looks nice, but Synapse 3 will probably make the overall experience bad.

the Mamba TE was also my first one too. currently i don't use it for gaming anymore but it is nice to see that Razer is solving the issues in the past for a lots of their mice.
