Razer Mamba Wireless is Double Clicking

Hi,
I am using a Razer Mamba Wireless for about 8-9 months now. But in the last month or so it started double-clicking when I press the left click. I don't know why is this happening but it's ruining my gaming experience. I tried reinstalling the Synapse software and updating the mouse drivers and it's still happening. It happens at about 30% of the clicks and it's random (it's not happening due to sensitivity settings or turbo mode, it's most definitely a bug).
I sent an email to Razer customer support which they should have replied in about 3 days according to their support page, but it's been more than a week and they still didn't reply so please someone help. I wanna play some games in this lockdown period but sadly I can not. Thanks and take care!

Is the double-clicking issue apparent with and without Synapse running in the background? Does this happen on both wired and wireless mode? In any case, please PM me your ticket number so I can check the cause of the holdup.

Double Click is a very bad, widespread problem affecting all Razer Mouse
The Solution is simple

Windows Settings > Devices > Mouse > "Additional Mouse Options"

Look for "Double-click speed" and set it to "Fast"

As simple as that.... Double Click Problem Solved

If this Solution doesn't work, you probably have a bad Switch. As we all know by now... below the overpriced, over-hyped fancy design. Razer uses very low quality, cheap hardware in their products.

Its also amazing how Razer Support can be so extremely bad... they will waste your time with pointless, useless troubleshooting like Reinstalling Synapse, Drivers, Firmware, Trying different USB ports... none of that works, its just a complete waste of time.

Razer simply doesn't care about the frustration of thousands and thousands of users, they will never acknowledge there is a BIG Problem with a hole line of their products, and will never ever help fix it... even if its hurting their brand reputation really bad and most users are going to buy another mouse brand

So I hope this post could help someone avoid all the frustration, time lost and even trashing their perfectly working very expensive mouse
For sure I was just minutes away of throwing my Mamba Wireless to the garbage
Thanks!

Yes, it happens regardless Synapse is installed or not or if it's in wireless or wired mode. Someone eventually responded to my email and it seems like he is trying to help me fix the issue. He said to use air compressor to blow the affected button. Well, I will try that too. In any case, here's the case number: # Removed from public view. Thanks!

Ok, that sounds easy. I will try that and I will leave a reply here whether it worked for me or not. Thanks a lot for your help and I'm really sad to hear what you said about Razer. I thought their products are top quality :slightly_sad:. Thanks!

Hi Angelo
I´m really sorry to hear you have the same problem, hope the fix in windows settings help you

I´ve been looking forward into this issue and unfortunately it seems its not a software bug, but the Omron Mechanical switches in all recent mouse that are failing, wearing out just after a couple months of use and it affects other mouse brands too

I also used to think Razer was the best, and for 10 years only used their Mice, but this situation has been too much disappointment, it really got me angry they are still selling brand new mouses with the faulty switches, when they know they are all breaking after couple of months, not cool at all

Also I dont understand why Razer support it not helping anyone here in the forums, for sure they are well aware of the issue, its like they dont want to admit the problem are the switches

I really like the Mamba Wireless, lets hope it doesnt completely fail soon
hope the fix helps
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your time. Yea it seems that I still have the issue, so as you said, it might be a mechanical issue. I feel pretty sad to hear that this can even be a problem these days. I'm chatting via email with a Razer support this days and I hope in the end he will manage to help me fix this problem.

Thanks a lot for helping me, have a great day!

There is a firmware update that targets to fix double-clicking issues, so if you haven't tried that yet, please send me a PM with the serial number of your mouse. I'd appreciate it if you can include your ticket number in your reply.
