So I've been thinking about buying a new backpack recently, particularly the Razer Mercenary. I've been needing/wanting a new backpack for my Razer Blade Stealth but also for school. I'm most likely not going to use it for both purposes at the same time (ex. Use only for school stuff one day and then laptop with gaming stuff another). But my question is, will the Mercenary be big enough to fit say.. About one or two 1 inch binders along with some other stuff? And how much weight could it handle? Could it handle the weight of say, a full binder or two and occasionally a textbook? And would it last a year? (I've also been considering a Swiss Army backpack, just so my bank won't break)

I really want to know this too, as most bags break really fast when you put binders in them. Looking at the reviews it looks good though, as it has a lot of space.

Mercenary has more than enough room for your stuff, however the backpack itself is stiff is all hell and it is a pain to take stuff out (heavy too). I would consider the Razer Tactical bag (smaller one). I own both and I like the tactical a LOT more than the mercenary.
  4. I have the big tactical bag and I can fit pretty much all my books and my Blade in it. The bag is really comfortable and I take it on trips too. It's pretty stiff and never loses its form. Since the mercenary bag is a bit smaller, I probably wouldn't go with it if you have a lot of books.

I like the look of the mercenary more then the tactical (looks super intense imo), but I'm not sure which is better for school stuff. I kinda want a mercenary for uni next year but Its pretty expensive...

I also really like the mercenary look, but i think im just going to go with the tactical pro, as it holds a lot more. If the size of the mercenary bag was bigger though, I'd instantly buy it!

The mercenary backpack looks really awesome but you can not transport big stuff in it. It has a lot of small pockets where you can put small things in.
If you want to transport binders or other school stuff like books, I would rather go for the tactical backpack.

Thanks, I'm probably going to go with that one then
