Razer Naga Hex V2 Randomly Freezing

Hello everyone.

The issue:
I have owned a Razer Naga Hex V2 for about 3 years now. Recently, I started having issues with the mouse freezing. In random moments, the cursor completely stops moving. The mouse buttons still work in this state. I am also able to move the cursor by turning the mouse upside down, and moving my finger over the laser.

How I have attempted to solve it:
- I have tried to calibrate my mouse pad's surface in synapse. This makes the mouse unstable, as slightly raising the mouse moves chaotically. This seemed to decrease the occurrence of this issue (the freezing).
- Resetting the mouse.
- Changing ports.
- Reinstalling the synapse.
- Uninstalling my USB root hub and then rebooting.
- Considering buying a new mouse, but I decided a better idea would be to try the forums as one last attempt.

Notes:
- The mouse is old. The circular thumb grip on the left side fell out not too long ago, but i was able to put it back in.
- If I do buy a new mouse, it will be the Razer Naga Trinity. I was made aware of some issues similar to mine concerning the mouse itself, and not specific cases. If the issue does end up being an old mouse, I'd like some disclosure regarding if this issue persists with the Trinity.

This is also happening to me. I've had this issue for a while, but recently it's becoming unusable. It's only this mouse, all other mouses (non razer) I try work fine. The Razer will stop moving, I'll reach over try the other mouse (works) reach back over to the razer and it's still not moving. button work fine.

Did you come across an answer or find some solution?
