Razer Nari (Essential) (Ultimate) showing up as speakers.

Hello, I was trying to activate surround sound on my Razer Nari Essential today and found out that the headset identifies as speakers in the sound control panel. The sound works okay but i cannot activate surround sound. On online tutorials it says that USB headphones might show up wrong because the audio jack isn't in the green scoket (3.5 mm) but since the Razer Nari Essential doesn't have an audio jack does anyone know what I can do to change the speakers to headphones or at least let me enable surround sound. Thanks in advance.
