Razer Nari Recording Game And Discord Audio Problem

I recently purchased the Wireless Razer Nari headset and straight off the bat noticed that it had two audio channels: Chat and Game.

I thought this was an odd feature. My last pair (Razer Man o' War) had one audio channel like I thought was considered "normal" and all was fine. I got the Nari ones because they seemed to be the best ones for the cheapest price, considering the big prices that often come with Razer products.

Anyways, I eventually got the hang of this whole two audio channel thing. One thing I didn't mention is that I create videos for a YouTube channel where I interview people on a server I play. I've done these before with the Man o' War headset and everything was fine: the sounds from my microphone, the ingame sound, and the Discord audio from the interviewee all came out in the final recording when I looked at the outputted file. (I use OBS in case that's important).

Today I recorded my first interview since getting the Nari headset. After I was done recording it, I thought how good this one went, even compared to the ones I thought were my best. I loaded up my editing program and popped the video inside to watch it's entirety before editing.

When it played, I noticed something odd: I couldn't hear my interviewee. I could hear myself and the game audio, but no Discord audio. This continued throughout the entire video I recorded. I went into OBS and looked at the properties of the desktop audio, and that's when it hit me: since there are two audio channels (Game and Chat), it could only capture one. And low and behold, guess which one was selected when I looked at the properties? You guessed it: Game audio.

My old ones never had this problem at all, since it had one audio channel like normal headphones. My question today is this: is there any way for these two audio channels to become one? And if not that, is there any way I can record both audio channels?

I really hope to find an answer. I have a deadline to meet and I need to figure this out. I usually keep a spare pair of headphones, however my Man o' War was replaced by the Nari headset due to the Man o' War breaking (they snapped in half, don't even ask how because I'm not too sure either). I have no other headphones to use, so I need to figure out how to work this one.

If there truly is no solution, then I'm sorry, but:

Whoever came up with the idea to have two audio channels is not the brightest, as it has caused me more harm than good.

Anyways, if you have any sort of answer, please post it. I'll be checking on this constantly, so if you have a question about something, please do ask. I'll answer it quickly.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern on our support board. I understand the inconvenience this brings since it affects the contents of your Youtube channel. By the way, have you checked which recording profile is selected in your Windows audio properties? Should the issue persists, please send me a PM together with the headset's serial number. Let's continue from there.
