I just got my first razer product, the Nari Ultimate and the mic doesn't sound very good. It sounds like a Xbox 360 headset microphone. My friend has the kraken 7.1 and his mic is very clear. Is the mic just wrong with my settings or does the Nari Ultimate just have a terrible microphone?

You can always adjust settings in windows sound mic volume or synapse mic tab.

Try to delete profile and create new one and give feedback here if something change. on new profile dont change anything just cheack quality and if it will be good try to change mic volume up.
the mic quality overall is bad. Compared to my Razer Kraken Pro OG kraken pro's...) Quality settings in windows and everything are on max. at a loss here...

yeah I've noticed that's a theme with Razer headsets, and it's the first thing I do. I've done it on Windows and it's still bad, seems to be some settings on synapse 3 😕

You can try few things the best way to start is connecting the headset to difrent pc and see if the bad quality is also there this give more about where to look issue. If on difrent pc everything will be fine you can try to reinstall audio driver, update or downgrade to see if enything will change the best way with this step will be driversweeper if you using a realtek audio it will remove all files that stay after uninstall. Cheack every sound app that you install from motherboard manufacture and reset it to default value. From synapse you can delete all profiles from headset and create new one with default settings and without changing anything cheack if something is change.
