Hi Razer Support :)

Since today I'm having an issue with my Razer Nari Ultimate headset when connecting them to my Razer Blade 15 advanced.
The wireless dongle is not being properly recognized and doesn't connect to the headset.
I investigated the issue and followed a couple of procedures to try and fix it:
- Uninstalled Razer Synapse 3
- Removed all the Nari related devices from the device manager
- Cleared program folders after unistall
- Rebooted
- Installed Synapse again
- Started Synapse and waited for the profile configs to load from the cloud
- Inserted the Nari Ultimate dongle
- Drivers started to install in synapse and after that an update showed (dated 4th of February 2020)
- installed the update and rebooted my machine
- Turned on the headset but no connection was made.
- Unplugged / plugged the dongle, but still no connection.

Also used the Nari dongle recovery tool, but it kept giving me the message that no action was needed.

I repeated the process 2 more times with no success.
Almost giving up, i tried again and did something different! After installing Synapse and connecting the dongle, i then didn't install the update available for the Nari Ultimate.
When i turned On the headset, it connected immediately and everything was working fine.
I then rebooted the laptop (without pressing the update button on synapse) and the problem returned.
It seems that the last update is causing an issue and i can't find a way to either fix or remove that update.

Another weird thing is that the dongle is recognized as "Avnera AV6301". I also saw this as an issue with other people but couldn't find any related solution.

To be sure, I also tested the dongle on my PS4 and it all works fine there. So it seems the problem is in the laptop/synapse.

I have Windows 10 Enterprise installed with all the updates released to date.
Could you help me out solving this please?

Let me know if there is any more info i can provide.

Cheers!

Hey there! Thanks for posting your Razer Nari Ultimate's concern here. By the way, have you installed the Razer Nari Recovery tool version 1.02.00? The firmware is created to fix the headset's "Avnera AV6301" and microphone issue. Please install the recovery tool only and see how it goes.

Sorry to hear that. Please send me a PM together with your headset's serial number. Let's continue from there.
