Razer Nari Ultimate For Xbox One Haptic Feedback is activated by party chat.

Hello, today I purchased the Razer Nari Ultimate For Xbox One. The headset is amazing, but for some reason when people speak in the party it activates the Haptic Feedback.

If anyone knows how to turn the Haptic Feedback off for party chat but keep it on for the game, I would greatly appreciate your help.

I have tried putting the switch in the Hypersense position and adjusting the chat mixer wheel, but it didn't seem to do anything.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

I would suggest you try to lower the mic sensitivity level and play with the audio and mic settings on Xbox as well. If you're experiencing the same issue, let me know through PM with the serial number of your device so I can validate its model specifications and look for other workarounds to help you address the problem.

Thank you for your response, I'll try adjusting the microphone sensitivity but just to clarify, it's when other people in the party speak, not my own voice activating it.

I'll also see if I can figure out how to change the settings on Xbox, the mixer in the dashboard menu now tells me to use the headset to change things like that

Edit: Also I'm having trouble getting to the serial number, putting it behind the ear cushion is terrifying, I'm so worried I'm going to wreck it trying to take it off

You mentioned in your post that you already tried adjusting the party/game volume and haptic intensity and it didn't help. I suggest you try the Xbox audio settings or test the headset on multiple devices for further isolation.
