in my razer game chat devices on windows audio mixer mixer i cannot choose what game to put in my game audio device, and everything defaults into the chat device, it is open in both, but the sound only works when the slider is in the middle or on "chat" if i put it on game i get no sound. and i get no surround on either.also when i use thx and set it as default i get no sound from anything. if i disable the chat device i get surround but my discord is also in this weird surround mode too.
i dont know what to do. it was ok that the mic sucked, i still bought it. but this makes things unplayable competitively.

Is the Game/Chat Balance issue apparent on a specific connection type? Do you have any sound/mic enhancements enabled on Synapse and on Windows Sound Settings?
I had this issue too. For me the fix was to go into the sound control panel within Windows, set the "Headphones Razer Nari Ultimate - Game" to the default output, and "Headset Earphone Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat" to the default communications device (it's in the "default" drop down).

Then in Discord, make sure that the "Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat" is the input and output device under settings, and that "Razer Nari Ultimate - Game" is the default output for your speakers. Then game-chat balance should work.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for sharing what worked for you. If I may ask, have you noticed any significant change in the sound quality on both the Game and Chat channels?
