Razer Opus ANC while wired connection low volume

Hello all,

when I use the Razer Opus in "wired mode" and turn them on to use ANC, the headphone lowers the volume dramatically. So, the volume is way too low and I can hardly hear anything.

The manual of the Opus says on page 9: "As long as your headset is powered on, you can still use ANC and Ambient Awareness in wired mode". So actually it should work.

I use the latest firmware. Due to the fact that my wife also owns an Opus, it is probably not an individual issue. Our second headset reacts in exactly the same way - it lowers the volume as soon as I turn it on while they are wired.

Is there a workaround?
Does anyone know where the problem is?

Factory reset solved the problem. Now the buttons on the headphones respond even with a wired connection, and I can adjust the volume.
Case closed 🙂
