Razer phone 1 update?

I'm just curious if the first gen Razer phone is supposed to receive Android pie. Everything I read just talks about th 2nd gen phone. No love for the 1st?

I apologize for the other users comment Shadow.

As for your question there's no news to share other what what Min has said in that it's coming but there's no date to announce ATM.
Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to answer not sarcastically
April 32 2019 is the date confirmed.
Other than Min's comment, I (or anyone) has heard any real info about any update for the rp1. Really frustrating since at least security updates should be rolled out, but nothing at all since the rp2 released.

They don't have team physically who can manage. They sucked previous team. It was a great mistake that I invested money in this phone. I Guess I don't touch anymore Razer products if I see in the future it might need a support. Big disappointment in Razer!
Can anyone confirm bestIOLITERoseVale084's statement about today being the day? (I'm assuming the 32 is a typo for 23.) I just noticed my v1 boot looping, and digging around lead me here. If I was being pushed an update, that would explain it, but now I'm SOL having to deal with the absurdly slow support chat.
Pretty sure he meant the 32nd... as in being sarcastic.
Great. So, I'm boned. LOL Thanks for the quick reply.
Well everybody, I checked my RP1 for the Pie update. No sauce.

His reply was just more sarcastic BS

Pretty sure this crap of a phone (I'm an owner of the RP1) won't get Pie ever.

I feel really disappointed and deceived in so many ways for buying it, I wanted to give Razer a chance since the phone has front stereo speakers and supports LDAC and aptX, but as soon as I was having bugs and issues, the magic disappeared.

Then, when I realized the phone received software updates for LESS THAN A YEAR after being released, well, then I was ripped off paying a "flagship" price, for a crappy phone.

This is the last time I buy Razer's crap, I should have learned with their peripherals.

Well said my friend i agree x1000
Yeah, this was a pretty big coffin-nail in the brand for me.

Obtained the phone in November 2017. Last update was August 2018. That was the July 2018 security update.

Really displeased with so much about the device. I've still got 6 months on a contract with it, too.
I wanted to let everyone know that I checked for a Pie update on my RP1. Results: no sauce.

And will not be for some time. Don't worry.
We have better odds on the 2nd coming of Christ, than this getting Android Pie
