Razer Phone 2 - Bluetooth not connecting

I have a similar problem to this thread from back in december. (/razer-phone-2-bluetooth-not-connecting-to-car-audio.45396/) Was there any solution to this?

I connect my Razer Phone 2 through bluetooth to the Toyota car audio. The phone does not stay paired to the system. It constantly connects and disconnects. Even after turning off and on the different audio options to even try to get it to work only as a phone, it won't have a stable bluetooth connection. I went through Toyota first and made sure all the firmware and software was up to date ( even though it is a brand new 2020 car.) However even after all that no success, still same problem. I am supposedly up to date in my software for my Razer Phone 2 when I presss the check for updates feature on the phone.

I am able to connect other android phones to the car successfully. And my razer can connect to other bluetooth devices easily, but it won't stay connected to the car properly. Please help, as I would like to get this fixed.

I have the android version 8.1.0
build number O-RZR-ATT-RLS005

I have this issue as well. I connected in safe mode properly. Then I tried Play Music and it played OK. So fully booted up and started Play Music and Bluetooth stayed connected.. so will stick with that. Are you by any chance using Poweramp?
