Earlier today I got my SIM card trimmed to fit into my new Razer Phone 2 and much to my disappointment, I was unable to make or receive calls.
After a while of tinkering with settings, I discovered that I had to set preferred network to 3G in order to make or receive any calls, but I had to set the preferred network back to LTE in order to use the internet.
I contacted Razer's Chat support (who were very pleasant) and they concluded that since I'm on Virgin Mobile/Bell Canada's network, I'd be having issues as the Razer Phone 2 is not CDMA compatible.
I then contacted Virgin Mobile who went on to tell me they did not use CDMA at all anymore. I checked my SIM card and it's an LTE card. They told me that they could not find the Razer Phone 2 on their compatibility lists, but I chalked this up to the Razer Phone 2 not being a widely known phone.
So what's going on with my phone and why is it such a pain to be able to use it?

I would greatly appreciate some insight into this. The Razer Phone 2 was not cheap and I'd like to get it working properly.
Looks like you're being ignored
Hi there, @DKDEVILMKII! Can you send me the serial number of your Razer Phone 2 through PM? Make sure to include the link of this thread. Let's continue from there.
I think your phone is not working properly, You need to restore the settings of your phone and then check it. If you are looking to buy a new phone, then I will recommend you to buy from Honor Smartphones.
