I just received my phone in the mail and tried setting it up today. The fingerprint scanner isn't an option under security settings. I'm not sure what to do. I've updated to the latest firmware. I can't seem to find anything on Google about the issue so I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong or it's a rare problem to have. Anyone here happen to know how to fix this or get the scanner to be detected? I've rebooted a million times to no avail.

i have same issue . . . any ideal to fix it ?
I'm in talks with support. I hope I get a better answer than "do a factory reset". I also hope it isn't out-of-the-box hardware issues. That won't bode well for my future with this thing.
They had me do a factory reset which I did but it didn't solve the problem. I've had it. If this is the kind of hassle I can expect from a flagship device then forget it. I filed for a refund.
