Razer phone 2 issue

Once in a while I'll be on the phone with someone or locking/unlocking my phone and the screen will go black, calls and apps shutdown and i wont be able to force a restart for a few minutes. The logo on the back stays lit as if it were on but i cant do anything. There is no feedback and nothing happens when i press any buttons. Just a black screen and the logo is lit. I think it may have something to do with the power button/finger print scanner but i really have no idea.

That's quite unusual. Try performing these steps:

1. Perform Hard Reset. To do that, simultaneously press and hold both the Power and the Volume Up button until the phone turns off. Let go of the buttons once you see the Razer Logo.

(If the issue persists, please proceed to the 2nd step)

2. Set the phone to Safe Mode (This will disable all 3rd party apps). To do that, just restart the phone. While the phone is loading press and hold the power button and the volume down button at the same time. Let go when the phone is completely on. Once the phone is totally on, you will see a "Safe Mode" indication at the lower left corner of the screen. Please test the device while this mode is activated and check if the issue would still persist. If it works, then there is a possibility that a third-party app is the one causing the issue. To exit from Safe Mode, just restart the phone again.
