Razer Phone 2 Issues

Hello

I have some issues with my RP2 that I cannot find solutions to. I've looked online and in other forums and even Razer but still no luck. I have had my RP2 for almost a month and I do like it but I am having issues with low call volume even when using the speaker phone. All of the volume levels are turned up all the way and I've tried it with Dolby Atmos being off and on. Nothing works. I have also reset the phone. Another issue that I have is when I format my Samsung SD card (class 10, u3) as internal, the phone shows that there are 131GB's os system files. It also says that I am using 131GB's of 230GB's total space. The phone has 64GB's and the SD card is 128GB's which equals 192GB's. And I cannot transfer any files from my phone to the SD card. If the SD card is formatted as portable, the phone reads the storage capacities correctly but I still cannot transfer files from the phone to the SD card. I apologize for the long message but I am looking for someone who may know how to correct these issues.Thank you in advance for anyone this is able to assist me. Take care.

Hey Den i'm glad you found your way here!

The SD card issue I can chime in on, what are you trying to move to the SD card as portable storage exactly?

Unfortunately there is a bug in the software when it comes to Samsung SD cards where the software doesn't show the correct amount of space but in fact doubles it. The storage shown should still be the correct amount available it just doubles it for some strange reason.

As for you call volume i'm not sure what the issue could be, especially if music and videos etc are playing at the top volume :S I'll get someone to reach out to you about the call volume see if they can help out with that.

Are these right out of the box and are you already on Android PIE? Please send me a PM with screenshots of how the detected SD card total space along with the serial number and IMEI of your RP2. I'll take it from there.

Hello Razer Caziel

I'm not sure what you mean "right out of the box" but the cellphone and the SD card were brand new. The serial# is: (*removed for security purposes) and the IMEI is: (*removed for security purposes). I may have to wait until the weekend to get you the screenshot. Thank you for contacting me and hopefully these issues can be fixed.

Hello Rox598

Thank you for getting back with me. I was just trying to move some apps that I download. They downloaded to the phone and I wanted to put them on the SD card. I may be able to do this by connecting the phone to my PC but I thought I'd be able to do this just by using the phone itself? But as I had mentioned before, I cannot transfer files from my phone to the SD card neither in "internal" nor "portable" formats.

As far as the volume issue goes, yes music and videos can play at full volume, although I don't keep it up the loud.

By default apps will install to the internal storage and not portable storage (this is due to speed and read/write may be different between the storages)

If you merge the two storage together (Internal Storage) and do not get a warning that your SD card is slow then you'd be better off doing it that way if you want to install high storage apps. Setting it to internal storage also means other devices will only see 1 storage option since they're merged together.

Don't worry about the space it shows it's just a bug but you'll have all the storage you should have.

as for your mic im not sure what to recommend, is your dialer upto date from the play store?
