Razer Phone 2 Wi-fi issues on android pie

So, last week I bought the Razer Phone 2, everything was working just fine until I updated it to the Android pie. My wifi stopped working properly. It would load some internet pages, a few apps, like Whatsapp, google play, and some games, but Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and a lot of other apps failed to work over wifi. I tried to fix through DNS configuration, Factory reset but neither solved my problem. I was only able to test it on two wifis, both were 2.4GHz. Then I installed a VPN app and to my surprise, it worked. I don't want to keep using a VPN every time that I want to use my home or work wifi, so today I went back to the store and they replace my phone for a new one and once again, I have the exact same issue with this new one. Has anyone encountered the same issue before? Is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hi there! Can you PM me the build number of your Phone? Please include the link to this thread as well. I'll be waiting.
Hi, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I had to change my Phone 2 for another cellphone. I found that this an android problem that happens to certain phone models as can be seen in this link: https://www.valuewalk.com/2019/01/android-pie-bug-netflix-internet-wifi/

Thanks again!
