I'd wait for a review before you did anything. That's what I'm looking forward to. :wink_:

You guys better make a battery case with Chroma. Building in a DAC/Amp would be good too. I would totally buy one if I had a Razer Phone.

No doubt! Though, one without Chroma too for us poor folk! :)

I checked out that orzly case, Its made of silicone. In my experience regarding protection with silicone, they are about as useful as protection using latex. If you know what i mean. :wink_:

I will pass on the orzly until some of the dual layer cases get released. And just take my chances on catching a gravity transmissible phone disease.

I don't know, I'm sorta in the mind to buy one of those Razer Phone Word Case. I really like the look of it. Maybe even the Razer Phone Rugged Case if I wanted extra protection.

After spending so much money on such a premium product I would want to protect it with a Razer product rather then some other companies.

Welp I bought the Razer Hammerhead USB-C earphones.

I had kind of been waiting for them:
    1. Because Razer mentioned them I believe in their Razer phone announcement or somewhere else shortly after it.
    2. My HTC U11 came with a pair of specially crafted Hi-Res USB-C earphones (called U-Sonic Adaptive Audio earphones), more than likely because it didn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Those USB-C earphones are basically my primary way I listen to music on my HTC U11. Don't need any dongle or anything. Plus, they don't drain my battery more, like using the USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter that also came with the U11, with regular headphones. That drain the battery an additional 10% more. You even get a pop up message about the battery drain whenever you use headphones with it

    lol

If I didn't buy 2 dbrand skins for mine, I would probably more than likely buy one of those Razer Word cases

I'm going to put a skin on it, put it in a case, then carry it in a sleeve, and then put it in a lockbox padded with memory foam, and put that in a backpack. :|

I think it will be protected then.

I bought one too. I love how I didn't have to pay any taxes from anything from the Razer store. Everything was flat-rate prices.

    Stuck in customs! :mad_:

The phones are currently in Customs assimilating the ways of American life. This includes Cheeseburgers, getting into political arguments, and tweeting everything that comes to mind including redirects to Instagram to view pictures of ones breakfast, and questions about if their thigh gap improved.
This is a very tedious process as it contradicts all lessons learned in other countries.

Sure you will whenever you get them back in stock. I have checked for days and nothing and you don't have notifications on product stock.

otterbox needs to jump on this

Already talked to otterbox, they basically said 'we dont talk about any new cases until they're released, but we'll take it under consideration'

No idea what that means. But since we've not heard a peep... I myself found the otterbox defender to be pretty similar to the ebay/amazon "tough" cases you see all over. It was plastic case interior with a tiny layer of foam against the phone, and then a rubber shell that fit around that, vs a lot of them are rubber inners and plastic shell.

Got the razor rugged myself just to get a case, but I'm sure I'll get a different one when more protective options come available.

I wouldn't go with otter box. I don't like them. I've bought their products before. Within a years use it started to bend and become warped. And this was with minimal use. I lead more of a sedentary lifestyle, so its not like I'm jumping off cliffs or scaling mountains. So I was sort of shocked that the otter box went bad so fast. If I had a Razer Phone, I would go with the Razer Phone Rugged Case if I wanted to ensure maximum protection or the Razer Word Phone Case if I was going for style.

  19. Anyone know when the Razer phone cases will be in stock??

Wow, that didn't take long. Jeez Louise, I just seen last week that they weren't even up for sale yet. And when I check back today it's already sold out? WHAT? They must sweating bullets over at Cupertino. They can feel the tide turning.
It's a good thing you posted about the Razer Phone Cases being out of stock. That way the powers that be at Razer can look into it and get the wheels churning even harder. Razer sure doesn't want to disappoint their fans by not having more supply of their fantastic products. Of course, I understand if Razer's fans are moving too fast. I'd be like them to if it wasn't for budget constraints.
