I think they have been out of stock since Saturday possibly Friday.

Got the Razer rugged case. Pretty decent but be careful when removing it. Pulling it off from the bottom will make it want to bend at the separation. That will probably break it so carefully, start to remove it off the end and then start removing the second section towards the top, and then slip your fingers inbetween to pry it off. (It will make sense when you're doing it) I almost bent the thing in half since it clamps nice and tight.

Overall it's a nice case, still waiting for otterbox though, they're slacking.

I'd stay away from otterbox. I've used their products before. Not very happy with them. Their cases get warped and misshapen after about a year of use. Plus mine came with a separate cover / stand that I lost within a few months.
I'd rather go without then use an otterbox ever again.

Anyone have any thoughts on wether to get the razer tempered glass protector or the orzly one? .3mm for razer and .24mm for orzly but a big difference in price lol

From previous history of reviews about orzly, I recommend to stay away.. but your call :) I've installed the Razer tempered glass protector and enjoying it. Keep in mind.. you generally get what you pay for. Although, yes, Razer products can seem expensive, relatively.. but, quality

Would be interested to hear how the cases affect the feel of the phone.

Holding the phone can be somewhat painful with the non rounded edges.

Hopefully a case could help with that.

So, I kind of reviewed the Razer Hammerhead USB-C earphones, and their Hi-Res Audio performance.

Anybody interested, you can check them out here:

I compared them to a few other Hi-Res audio products.

Everybody wants a Razer Chroma charging dock, so Razer should make a case with a magnetic strip so people can plop their phone on the chroma dock like with the Razer Mamba.

Looks like the rugged case is back in stock. Anyone tried it out?

It's not rugged, never going to survive a drop on anything but carpet, not worth 40$

Get the slim in the meantime or the foldable wallet thing.

What is the foldable wallet thing?

Wish the others would come back in stock....

  14. I've just been looking at the Rugged case from Razer, it looks a little like the commuter series from Otterbox, single shell of impact plastic with no inner rubber or foam lining. It looks to be good to protect the phone from scratches but not from drops on hard surfaces, can anyone confirm or refute this. I've been holding off on ordering this phone because I'm kinda clumsy, my S6 has survived through hundreds of drops, many on concrete, with no damage because of the Otterbox Defender case, though I have had to replace it once a year. Until I know a case that is at least that protective (Otterbox Defender, LifeProof, Griffin Survivor) is available I can't invest in something I might break. I wonder if enough units are going to be produced to make third party companies see value creating a case.

yeah ive noticed that is a problem lol it gets kind of annoying but idk how they could make a case like that that doesnt sacrifice the sound.

I bought the rugged case the same time I bought the phone. It's nice, I've droped it a few times with no issues only bad thing is marks get left on the case fairly easily but its whatever rather it than the phone i guess. i'm gonna look at that wallet thing i had one from otter box with my s7 edge and loved it. but I do agree not really worth the 40 bucks but again better than nothing.

I'm in the same boat. A good case is the only thing holding me back from purchasing this phone. The only two reviews for the rugged case I can find are on Amazon (a two star and a three star). Neither review has kind words for it.

I've had my S3 since it was released (safely tucked inside the same Otterbox), I guess I can wait a bit longer to replace it.

I'm looking for a good clear case.. Heard the ones listed in the first post kinda suck though, anyone had any luck? Gonna pick up a nice dbrand and then cover it in protection so it doesn't get messed up.
