Razer Raptor 27 stand blinking

Hi,

If I set a static color to the stand, it randomly blinks from time to time to another color, not sure which one, looks like blueish, probably the default one.

I've tried moving to different USB ports (I'm using mini USB-C to USB 3 adaptor) and still happens.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi,

I've the same problem. Haven't found a solution yet. Waiting for someone with knowledge :smile_:.
Mmm, interesting, this is the support forum, isn't it? What kind of support? Moral support?
I also have this issue with my Raptor. It happens in Static and is annoying me.
I have seen a workaround is to use the Visualiser Module in Synapse and set both colours to the colour you desire.
Not ideal, as it bumps the CPU up a fraction, but may do as a workaround till this is resolved.

i'm so glad you started this thread! for the record, i'm now on my 3rd panel and they've all had the same problem! i've contacted support and they seem to be more interested in getting all my personal info rather than discussing their bug. a couple support folks asked me if i dropped the panel. really?!! after all the handling done before we receive it and their piss-poor packaging. very sad. i say piss-poor pkging cause every box had some breach and an appearance of being opened and resealed.

all 3 of mine came via amazon. thank God for them and their return policy!! my first was really bizarre as it flashed like someone taking pics in the dark every 30 seconds or less. the last 2 are not as bad but they still flash/blink intermittently while on "static." it seems like there was a recent sw update to synapse that did mitigate the problem some but not entirely. again, i've only seen this behavior while on "static."

another issue is color accuracy or lack thereof. i've selected orange but it appears mostly as a confused green. at first, i thought this was a silicone problem but after 3 monitors all showing the rendering, i'm leaning more toward the sw. it's either that, or we've been sold some defective units. i have NOT used chroma, as i prefer to keep my app use to a minimum. perhaps someone has had better luck with that app.

by and large razor support sucks! they need to acknowledge this problem and stop asking if it was dropped. it's solid state, if it was dropped, it should still work unless a cable came loose. i see no flickering in "spectrum cycling" mode - the only other mode i've used. i'm sure they are keenly aware of this problem but with strong demand, they may have chosen to ignore or delay the fix.

this is a fine panel and i will likely keep it whether they fix it or not. i game but rarely. it's a stunning piece of equipment on any desk and for me a definite keeper!! it's the mac-daddy of displays (ok, so i'm dating myself). the only thing the panel could use is a rear rgb that can be synced with the base to provide a soothing backlight.

so nice job razor. now help your customers out and fix the damn problem on this pricey panel, already!
They sell a product emphasizing on the gorgeous 16.8 million customizable colors stand and fails precisely on that, but not only with the blinking issue but also with the whole experience, I want all my desktop components to have the same color from the moment I turn on the computer, all my component respect that; motherboard, graphic card, mouse, keyboard, from different manufactures, they care of save the chosen color at hardware level, all of them, excepct Razer monitor, we need to wait until Windows and Razer Synapse loads, so while booting they spoil the user experience, and anyway they force you to always have the Synapse software running.

Same here bro, just received my Raptor a few weeks ago and whenever I set it to static I have the exact same issue. Would love to know if you've figured out a solution.
Just adding my voice to the group that has been experiencing this blinking whenever the monitor base is set to static. Planning on submitting a ticket. The monitor works beautifully otherwise!
