Razer Sila Mesh Point Froze

I purchased a pair of Sila's last week for my home and have been pretty happy thus far. I woke up this morning and noticed my connection was down, when going into the Sila app, the Mesh point appeared to be offline. The Mesh point was still lit up green, however, it was not responsive. I waited a few minutes then hard power cycled, and it came back up. Has anyone experienced freezing issues with Mesh Points? The primary was still working perfectly. I will say performance has been awesome as I just upgraded to 400 Mbps and my Unifi setup wasnt anywhere near fast enough to take advantage of the service wirelessly. This has been fantastic as I can actually hit 450+ Mbps now of throughput to wireless devices.

Also any history on firmware updates or release notes? It'd be nice to know when one is released and what is added. Thanks for your help.

Hey @dpgx81! Thanks for sharing your Razer Sila's concern to our Support board. There have been no reports regarding with the Mesh point being unresponsive at the moment. There's no recent update for your Razer Sila, but it is best to observe its performance within the next 24-48 hours. If in the case issue persists, please press the RESET button on the back of Razer Sila for 5-40 seconds to restore the device. Please note, this will erase all user settings. Also, you can uninstall and reinstall your Razer Sila App on your mobile device to refresh its settings. Feel free to send me a PM should you need further assistance.

Thank you, I'm hoping its a fluke or something that doesnt happen again because performance has been fantastic aside from this incident. Very happy with it overall!

You're welcome @dpgx81. Don't hesitate to update me anytime. Enjoy your Router! :wink_:
So unfortunately it's still happening once a day on the mesh point which shows good connectivity to the main unit. It was odd because it blinked blue today and the light on the router went off, app showed it was not connected but my pc thats hard wired to that mesh point still had connectivity.

That's quite interesting. It seems that it is experiencing a wireless dropout but let's probe some more. By the way, have you reset your Razer Sila and uninstall-reinstall your Razer Sila App? Does the issue happen at a particular time of the day? Is there any microwave oven, speakers treadmills near your router which can cause frequency spike and interfere with the router. Also, is there any Medical or Security alarm connected in your internet setup? If you have, and it is possible, remove it from your network and see if the Mesh still freezes as part of our isolation. Just ensure to reconnect it after to not jeopardize your household's welfare/security. Also, you can isolate this by connecting your router into another good power source without other electrical appliance sharing the same socket. Lastly, find another available internet socket wherein the Razer Sila is the only connected higher-frequency.

I am also having this issue with both my mesh points. Happens at random times during the day for both mesh points. This morning it happened while I was gaming and I got kicked off-line. I have to unplug and replug in the mesh. I have tried the rest on both mesh points and then reconnecting. I have tried moving the mesh points closer. The mesh check on the app always says that the connection is acceptable prior to this happening.

Thanks for sharing your concern here. When did the issue start? I hope that you're able to get some tips from this thread. By the way, have you tried resetting the router? If yes and the issue still persists, please send me a PM, let's continue there.
