Hi Razer Community,

I'm new to razer community. I'd like to ask how to redeem razer silver for razer gear for my friend in penang, malaysia. Any suggestions?

Can i ship it to his office address? i just need to pay shipping cost and all the taxes right, since i'm redeeming with razer silver so i suppose to get razer gear for free am i right?

I live in Indonesia by the way.

I'd appreciate your suggestions and answers 😃

Yes you can ship to him. Pick the item you want to redeem with your silver, it will direct you to order summary where you can select the country you want to redeem it. Ensure that the correct country(Malaysia) is selected. Also check availability of item stock first at https://www2.razer.com/ap-en/store. As a suggestion, only proceed to redeem the code if the item you want is in stock from their online store(You don't want to be holding on to a voucher that will expire in 2 months and forgot to redeem it). Go back to https://www2.razer.com/ap-en/store and add item to cart. During checkout select Malaysia as country for shipping country. Key in the discount promo code and checkout. Log in your Razer account(if you have one) and key in your friend's office address in the billing address and proceed continue. You'll likely need to pay RM47.00 for shipping as that's their base shipping rate even for a Razer shirt to Malaysia. As for tax, you might or might not be billed for tax for the item. That depends on the custom checks. If you are lucky, you don't require to pay. Since Razer uses Fedex, your friend will be billed the tax on the spot during delivery if there is any after customs clearance.

dude, i forgot to ask you.. is it okay to sent the razer gear to my friend office? since my friend is working on freight forwarding company and razer got policy that order that is send to freight forwarding address will be cancelled.

You will received confirmation to your email before the shipping is confirmed. If rejected, you will need to provide them another shipping address.

Have you tried with paypal payment? It's the 2nd payment option. Paying by card directly usually gets payment authorization failure as the name of receiver is different from the card's owner name. I get that a few times when I pay with debit card but I have no issues when I pay through paypal. Give it a try and update us.

You have to call your respective bank for your credit card to enable international billing. That's why your payment failed at the first place.
